whoa there ruby
-
pretty cool, no?

-
lol I love the Rubes. Excited to see some sort of [1...10] land in js some day.
-
yeah, rust has dedicated range syntax. JS needs indexing reform first tho.
-
does TC-thirtynizzle take kindly to very small proposals like .first() .second() .third(), aka sugary goodness?
-
Kindly enough (cc
@ljharb) but I am skeptical of these. .fortySecond() ? -
imo indexing into arrays at all is an antipattern. Use restructuring for .first etc :-)
-
wait wat? So is traditionally. OOP js but we sugar it with class anyways.

I still feel that, syntactically, there should be a keyword; it doesn't look like a declaration to me w/o one.
-
even with a decorator? This is pretty silly: class { private
@protected#name; } -
Decorators do change things (they are, in a way, keywords), but a lone
#myPrivProp looks odd and non-declarative to my eyes. -
people were opposed to different rules for decorators (which seemed reasonable to me) but decorators do change things.

-
1. Ugh 2.
@protected private#name is still WAT -
Looks OK to me, but I‘m very used to Java syntax. ;-)
