Loads of new langs built on JS and WebAssmbly might facilitate full alternatives so we can have our cake & eat it

i'm happy for more choice of paths for devs to deploy to the web. doesn't mean i want to break JS to get it

It's already broken :D Vendors test impact of API breaks; suspect the impact of JS lang changes would be huge?
