I particularly enjoy "OKRs are not KPIs because..." as if the name had anything to do with it.

I would probably view these things more as indicators than strict tied-to-money concepts.

They are meant to indicate to managers whether the team is functioning well, and if not, how to get there.

but people get lazy and start to rely on them as measures of individual performance.
