A big advantage of CSS in JS(X): One language (JS), not three (JS, HTML, CSS). One linter. One code style. One type system. One test system.

to make myself even more clear - CSS-in-JS = ES6 - JSX is not standard, but I want it to be. ES10? :P

I enjoy aspects of it, but Ember gets so far away from every action you're doing with...
-
abstraction with their own rules and conventions and mental models
-
also CSS and HTML are already abstractions, the argument is about if they are good or bad abstractions
-
in CSS imo it's selectors that are the bad abstraction for dev-ing UI
-
not necessarily. Selectors have proven very effective for arbitrary userland decoration. Alternative?
-
ie: I used to be able to hide most ads with selectors until it became a big deal :P
