I don't think we have quite the same philosophy, but Skylight, LinkedIn, Heroku are influential.

tbh, ember is fine. The cli is full of unicorn tools the rest of the community doesn't use (or old).

hm... Broccoli is a pretty big, sustainable ecosystem. It's bigger in scope (and older) than webpack.

Addons are really just about making it possible to glue "ember" things together.
