the Windows UI just isn't and has never been tuned at all. Clicking sucks, much less mouse acceleration or animation

I made this mistake for a year or so. Apple hardware is a very poor testbed for Windows. Go to the mall and find a kiosk

I mean, I also have Windows 10 on a gaming tower I built and still find the UX of the OS to be wretched, top-to-bottom

tl;dr Windows hasn't felt right to me since Win2k. The information design, sense of place, interactions are all sloppy

at no point when I'm using Windows am I convinced the windows are windows. Zero suspension of disbelief. Opposite in OSX

on OSX I'm forced to use divvy to get basic interactions like maximize. Pretty terrible.
