Has anyone collected data in their Open Source projects on diversity? It's surprisingly difficult to get solid data :(

we want it across the GitHub org and per repo, that's where we think we can measure impact.
-
I think we have pretty good evidence of successful efforts. Don't need to get measurements right up front.
-
we do for events, i don't have a ton for large open source projects. working on it though.
-
technically we do a community survey, but the survey also reflects efforts at the main conf.
-
insisting that everyone self identify has its own issues too. Chicken and egg.
-
yup, that's why I'm seeing what other people might have been able to do.
-
for us, reaching out to all Meetups, podcasts, Twitter accts w/ followers, etc has helped.
-
I also think
@wifelette should do a write-up about http://emberwomen.com/ . There's a lot interesting there.
