Tech is a weird industry where people think that never hiring entry level people is viable in the long term. No "0yrs experience" jobs.

I am coming to the conclusion that many code schools are rip-offs, more or less like "Learn X in Y Days for Morons" books.

Note that "many" is not "most". I think some standardization on publicly reported outcome metrics by all would be helpful.
