that means there will always be some technical incompat (esp in sloppy mode) but we avoid breaking code in the wild.

The article is satire, the code made-up. Read the last paragraph. The problems discussed are exceedingly rare in real code.

I didn't said they weren't rare, tc39 doing it right, all that, but there is a code which will break, which makes it back-incompat
