can you explain? Thinking of android for that reason...

it's just obviously and noticeably slower than safari despite buying a high end Android phone.
-
good to know. PWAs were calling me in like a siren song, but I'm in deep on apple products. Nice to have temptation culled
-
if PWAs are truly a web technology (and not slick Google marketing), they'll be in Safari eventually too.
-
true, but not for at least a year it seems. Mostly want service workers esp since everyone else is on board.
-
agree & hope Apple gets onboard -- their reticence on this is giving me (a little) pause. They usually get around to it.
-
Oh, but when they do, it will be amazing! Srsly, I buy into the argument that they won't want to be the worst browser forever
-
calling them the worst browser ignores how fast they are, which seems at least a little relevant (very relevant to me)

it's insanely slow (specially after using Safari on iOS). It appears single-thread CPU performance is the main issue, unfortunately.
-
there are a lot of issues but it's incontrovertible

Is is true that iOS really lags behind in term of impl standards? How does this impact your decision ? ref https://www.nexedi.com/blog/NXD-Apple.Lawsuit.Blog …

I have sooooooooooooo many doubts about this lawsuit
-
