The entitlement of some open source users is astounding. "Do it my way. You disagree? Man up and stop being a victim." Sheesh.
it's a vicious cycle. Making your users a real part of the decisionmaking and treating them like customers (not "users") helps a lot

Agree. I always try to do that. But sometimes the rare person just comes out of nowhere with rudeness and demands.
