the world is kinda complex. Are you aware of humans? They use software, so it kinda has to fit their foibles. They're weird.
there's this weird attitude that frameworks sell a bill of goods, that all complexity is now gone. But who really believes that?

I've been noticing people on /r/rails and /r/ruby begin to have this mentality. That Rails is too magic for them.
I'm like, it's a framework, get over it. :-\
sounds great on paper, but can be costly when at scale and the opposite of abstraction is needed.
