Names like "SPA", "native web app", etc. are all too confusing. But it *is* the most important thing about Ember. 2/

I would love some help finding a tweet-sized way to explain it. 3/3

@attilagyorffy@emberjs the main issue is that people compare non-"SPA" usage of React/Angular/Knockout/etc to Ember, which skews. -
@attilagyorffy@emberjs Other frameworks allow you to build fully client-side apps, but that isn't their dominant use-case. -
@attilagyorffy@emberjs this makes the ecosystem value lower than you might expect if you are in it. -
@wycats That's the downside of inventions (even if they are incremental in some ways). The router component gives a whole new twist to it.

@wycats "Ember is a full-featured client-side JavaScript web application framework." How's that? -
@wldcordeiro the question is, could you swap Ember for React or Angular 1 and still have people believe it? If so, it doesn't work. -
@wycats so the goal is to emphasise that Ember is client-side while expressing the unique selling points of Ember? -
@wldcordeiro https://twitter.com/wycats/status/668877542556745729 … the goal is to differentiate from frameworks that are dominantly used for enhancing server HTML.

@wycats emphasizing that the app is sent in one "bundle" (a single, cacheable, static blob of html/css/js) might be a place to startThanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@wycats Ember doesn't need a server, not even Internet. Cut the cord, keep clicking around, an Ember App will work just fine.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo
