    What's a good, relatively recent 7 or 8 inch Android tablet that either comes with stock(ish) Android or works with Cyanogen?

        @wycats http://shop.lenovo.com/us/en/tablets/lenovo/yoga-tablet-series/yoga-tablet-2-8/?menu-id=lenovo_yoga_tablet_2_8 … Lenovo Yoga 8: great battery, good build, easy to hold.

        @balmer The Yoga still seems to be on Android 4.4 and no Cyanogen support. TL;DR: I'm looking for a small, quickly updated tablet

        @wycats Maybe Nexus 9, if that's to big then Nexus 7 (2013) . It looks like it's supported by Cyanogen http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_devices_supported_by_CyanogenMod …

        @ErikCH Nexus 7 (2013) is looking like a good bet, except for the 2013 part :/

        @wycats If you can get one for cheap, the Nexus 7 2013 is still a great device. G Pad 8.3 Play Edition, if you can find it, is also good.

        @wycats I'd still recommend the Nexus 7 despite it's age, maybe wait till after Google IO?

        @wycats there will probably be a new Nexus 7 at Google IO, in May. Otherwise I'd still go for the Nexus 7 (2013), for the updates alone.
