When Ember started requiring Handlebars 2.x, it should have marked a major version of its own. Same for HTMLBars. Ember 1.10 is really 3.0.

@wycats I think Rack is likely a very good analogy and will meditate on that a while.Thanks. Twitter will use this to make your timeline better. UndoUndo

@wycats@jamesarosen i think any pain felt during this upgrade indicates a lack of insulation. -
@stefanpenner@jamesarosen It's too bad we didn't take it more seriously during the beta, but we should be able to clean it up now. -
@wycats We took compat extremely seriously. We addressed every reported compatibility issue during the beta. /cc@stefanpenner@jamesarosen -
@rwjblue@wycats@stefanpenner https://github.com/jamesarosen/ember-i18n/pull/182 … is the biggest for Ember-I18n. It's no loss for HTMLBars users, but is for others. -
@jamesarosen@rwjblue@stefanpenner I'm a little bit confused. Is the crux of your complaint a series of bugs fixed in the beta period? -
@wycats I didn't know they were fixed, or even that they would be, so I deleted the feature. (Bad feature anyway.) -
@jamesarosen What can we do to make you feel more confident that if you report a bug during the beta period, it will be fixed? -
@wycats maybe it's that the "recommended path" changes so frequently, not that old paths are broken.
