    The lack of frameworks in node is not a community choice, it is a technical limitation of npm.

        @wycats Particularly I don't think there's a place for frameworks in computer programming, but I don't see how npm limits them.

        @robotlolita npm strongly discourages (aka it's broken) patterns where multiple packages share a single instance of a dependent module.

        @wycats @robotlolita nested deps is a feature not a bug! otherwise you end up with versioning nightmares which I would assume you know.

        @wycats I think the feedback loop is bidirectional. Spent 2 years steeped in it with Grunt/Lineman and tech is informed by user priorities
