@devonstrawn Rejecting native client has nothing to do with forcing a JS monopoly. `asm.js` is a portable, evolutionary path to the same. -
@wycats asm.js v. NaCl is a red herring; the real problem is that it's a one or the other choice - ideally devs could use both or neither -
@devonstrawn asm.js works today in all modern browsers. No choice required. v8 is blocking fastest perf in Chrome, but say fast enough. -
@wycats Yes, however asm.js is not the last word in browser VMs. So should make it possible to choose VMs today, and let the market decide -
@devonstrawn People do not have infinite resources. asm.js was an evolutionary step that can be adopted incrementally. -
