We've had various forms of CSS abstraction (through grid/layout systems, Sass, Less) for years, and for modern browsers, it's just solved.
@mcpherrinm Sure, but as a % of total time spent, how painful is it really? For me, it's a tiny, tiny % of time spent (trivial really)

@mcpherrinm hm... I find working with d3 to be more annoying, and more time consuming as a % of total time spent on my product ;)
