@wycats 2.0 looks great, but it's unfortunate that Ember Data continues to be ignored. Ember Data should be part of Ember. -
@shinzui Totally agree. We mentioned Ember Data briefly, and you should expect more plans soon! -
@wycats Ember Data is a lot better now but it's still a major pain point in large apps. Is it possible to amend the RFC to include it?

@wycats "communication between components is often most naturally expressed as events or callbacks." why did the guide never tell me! ;) -
@Bluu It's a really interesting thing. Form controls *really* want 2-way bindings, but not everything is a form control. No "one true way" -
@wycats makes sense. Good to know. According to that para, I have to turn in my experienced Ember dev card. *does so*

@wycats overall very awesome. I have to admit the controller -> component thing terrifies me though. -
@eviltrout we're gonna make sure it's not as terrifying as it may seem. -
@wycats We will likely be using that plugin, because that's a LOT of code to rewrite. Will routed components be singletons too? -
@eviltrout@wycats no, they will have the life-cycle bound to visibility. -
@eviltrout@wycats the "Session" state preservation will be a later RFC. -
@stefanpenner@wycats I more than trust you guys to pull it off properly :)
