@borismus The iPhone has two or three physical pieces outside of the screen. They hide it well :)

@wycats there's also the question of whether to include the soft buttons on androids in screen size measurements.

@borismus Here's a to-scale picture of iPhone 6 and original MotoX. http://note.io/1qhXAw5  You can see that the screen is the same size.

@wycats Cool thanks. Somewhat surprising too. Anyway still think that the soft buttons are on the fence. 90% of time they are present.

@borismus I think the over-focus on screen size has allowed Apple to pretend they have a mid-sized phone with the 6. Physical dimensions +1

@wycats agree. Slightly less keen on it after seeing your comparison. Moto X, my phone now, is on the big side for my taste.

@borismus MotoX is actually a quite small phone by 2014 standards. The new MotoX is slightly larger than the iPhone 6.

@wycats Yeah don't really like this trend. Nexus 5 sticks out of my skinny jeans :)

@borismus The Galaxy Alpha is a similar size (13.4 sq inches) to the original MotoX (13.1 sq inch) vs. iPhone 6 @ 14.4. Maybe you want it?

@borismus Maybe they'll have a Google Experience version? Also, I really like the Moto "bloatware" :(

@wycats Moto bloatware is way less intrusive than Samsung.

@borismus Yeah, it just means I don't want to switch away from Motorola, even to a Google Experience Galaxy Alpha (with better form factor)
