You can use the shittiest tools in the world to build the world's largest websites. "Some huge company uses X" is glib, but useless.

@wycats @ryanflorence it’s a fine answer to the dumb question “will it scale?” though.

@zwily @ryanflorence sort of. People want to know what it looks like to build a large app with 6-12 person team.

@thomasABoyt @zwily @ryanflorence both of which are somewhat uninteresting. 1,000 developers is game over territory no matter what.

@wycats how about 100 rows in a table? cause that's "game over" for some libs. Call me glib, but I'm not some joker w/o a clue @zwily

@ryanflorence @zwily I did not claim that and I'm not subtweeting.

@wycats perhaps we should discuss the meaning of both "scale" and "subtweet" in this thread? :P @zwilypic.twitter.com/iHFNlWfN8p

@ryanflorence @zwily if I explicitly reply to you it seems difficult to claim other tweets on the topic are subtweets c/d

@wycats Just finished the codeschool Angular.js course too. Angular looks easier than Ember on surface tho; even if ng has scale issues atm.

@pewpewarrows There is a difference between "this will be maintained because people use it" and "this obviously scales because X uses it"
