Look: I'm a big fan of the web as a platform, but if Angular or Ember are the answer then we are asking the wrong fucking questions.

@dethe At least Ember is orthogonal to web components. It focuses on routing/navigation. We're actively working on future interop with WC. -
@wycats To be honest, I mention Ember as an example of Big Framework, but haven't used it. Routing is good, but doesn't need to be big. -
@dethe It's non-obvious. Getting routing to work well becomes pervasive. You can't just hack it in at the end. It affects everything. -
@wycats I understand that. But that is a code smell. How do we fix it rather than tolerate it? -
@dethe It's not obvious to me that it's a code smell. If you want to support reloading/back-button, many actions have to understand URLs. -
@wycats So make it explicit. But I don't see why it needs a huge framework. The whole web needs this, not just a few apps that buy-in -
