overall impressed by the #WWDC keynote and the way iOS 8 and OS X Yosemite are integrating - hard to see Android or Windows Mobile competing
-

@wycats maybe on a Nexus paired with a ChromeBook, but sadly that's not most people's experience of android… -
@feyeleanor Even a Nexus paired with logged in Chrome could be pretty awesome. -
@wycats I'd be more interested in iOS paired with logged in Chrome -
@feyeleanor Nah. Android is pretty great these days ;)

@wycats on the web side of things though Chrome can definitely compete - which is why I use it on my iPad :) -
@feyeleanor I pretty much treat my MacBook as a host for Chrome as an OS. It's not quite there yet but getting closer all the time. -
@wycats whereas chrome to me's just a browser, not an app platform -
@feyeleanor The web is an app platform, it turns out ;) -
@wycats my head says yes, my heart says yeah right ;) but I've always felt the browser was bloat and too tied to JS -
@feyeleanor asm.js! Also, all app platforms are full of bloat. No love lost for win32 or Cocoa. -
@wycats I agree, had my fill of win32 in the 90s and Cocoa seems as labyrinthine as Java. I'll admit I'm impressed by asm.js though -
@feyeleanor :) People are too quick to dismiss the web platform. It's a chameleon and adapts quickly.
