Wasted 2 hours failing to figure out some bizarre misbehavior of handlebarsjs. Can't find any active support channels either. Forever Alone.

@wycats {{ foo }} gives me the object as expected, passing it to a helper {{ bar foo }} gives me "foo" literally. http://semicomplete.com/demo/kibana/3 replies 0 retweets 1 like

@jordansissel that is intentional in Ember so that you can set up observers. In Ember, you can use registerBoundObservers to get the object
