Wasted 2 hours failing to figure out some bizarre misbehavior of handlebarsjs. Can't find any active support channels either. Forever Alone.

@wycats {{ foo }} gives me the object as expected, passing it to a helper {{ bar foo }} gives me "foo" literally. http://semicomplete.com/demo/kibana/ -
@jordansissel@wycats@tomdale in this case "foo" *is* a string. Check out the docs https://github.com/emberjs/ember.js/blob/master/packages/ember-handlebars/lib/ext.js#L270-L331 … for how to write bound helpers. -
@trek no such method Ember.Handlebars.registerBoundHelper (ember 1.0.0-pre.2, handlebars 1.0rc1) -
@jordansissel it's newish. you can add your own to 1.0.pre2 if you want http://techblog.fundinggates.com/blog/2012/08/ember-handlebars-helpers-bound-and-unbound/ … -
