Hehe, may be a bit of a frog boil there. Careful attention to preserving backcompat means experienced devs don't notice how much has changed. Compare to Angular, where basically the first thing you learn is: Ignore everything from 1.x

I was drawing from my experience navigating major versions of D3, when I had a really tough time knowing what to do with old code examples. It is tough for new content to stand out among 6 years of search results. In general, I would love to see more Ember 3.x articles!
