    The IFS concluded that the Lib Dem manifesto was, "a radical document that would involve a decisive move away from the policies of the past decade." We can be both sensible and radical. Vote Lib Dem.

    In contrast, the IFS said Lib Dem plans, "seem to involve somewhat lower levels of borrowing than implied by either Labour or Conservative manifestos, and they would appear to be the only one of these three parties which would put debt on a decisively downward path"...

    Paul Johnson of the IFS added, "Under Labour both taxes and spending would rise to peacetime highs. On generous assumptions they would see the national debt rise by around 3% of national income." The IFS conclusion: "Neither is a properly credible prospectus"...

    Yesterday the Institute for Fiscal Studies (IFS) published a report into party election spending promises. Its Director, Paul Johnson said, "Conservative plans if delivered would leave public service spending outside of health still 14% lower in 2023-24 than it was in 2010-11"...

    Donald "America First" Trump, the likely to be impeached, racist billionaire, has already called Boris, "the exact right guy for the times." A vote for Boris will be a vote for Trumpian politics. Bigly. North East Wales is better than that.

    Even Lord Barnett (Labour) in 2000 said of his then 22 year old formula, "It needs a review, a major review that deals with real needs in different parts of the country and it doesn't do that." This appears not to matter to some...

    The response of the Conservative candidate was that Wales gets 20% more per head than England. For the record, that figure is the Scottish one. Wales in 2017/18 did get 14% more per head than England...

    On ITV's Sharp End Election Special last night our candidate for Wrexham Tim Sly said it clearly, "The NHS do a fantastic job but they are being starved of cash and Wales is not getting its fair share of formula funding."
