sadly nothing there. I assumed it is related to system standby, since it no longer happens after the hard reset. Just a guess though.

Not 100% reproduction though? Just sometimes after suspend you’ll have a full system lock when launching?

actually can 100% repo. Start PC, start http://battle.net App, put PC into standby, wake PC, start overwatch, crash

Having bnet open before putting into sleep is the key. Won't lock up otherwise

If you start PC, start app, put PC into standby, wake PC, and then launch Overwatch via the command line (probably can double click from your folder) does it still lock PC? Will help determine if bnet app issue or OW issue so I can route to the right QA.

While we're at blaming bnet app team, do you know who to nudge about the app crashing within seconds on 90% of launches on macOS? I must have submitted hundreds of crash dumps by now but issue still persists after more than half a year. :(

If you get the unique id for a recent crash and post on the Mac Technical Support forums I believe you should get a fairly quick reply. If that doesn't happen link me your post there and I'll try to track someone down. https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/10407562/ …

Forgot we can do US forum posts now. Let's see if they reply. https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/topic/20759567567 …, if you want to see how sluggish it reacts, or want to forward it regardless. Will nudge you in a few days if there's no response. Thanks! :) (btw: amazing job on Pro and community interaction!)

Looked over those crashes didn't have any instincts on how to help. Crashing in a few different locations in framework code, stacks are unique to you. Given how many app users there are, uniques are exceptionally rare, tend to be hardware related. Sorry I don't have better news.

I did send to App folks to look maybe they’ll know something I don’t though.

Had a look at the stacktraces myself. Yeah, that's probably a Qt issue. I was able to repro with a bare installation as given in thread. Can you nudge
@sraub at this, since he seems to be the Qt person on team? I'd be grateful with a line of code or Qt bug report to debug on! :)1 réponse 0 Retweet 0 j'aime -
Qt 5.9 and Chromium 62 in next big update, hoping it fixes some of these issues. We are aware but don’t have enough info on what causes them
