Anything in event viewer after you reboot? Overwatch runs fully in user space so we shouldn’t be able to lock your PC no matter what we do. Guessing some driver issue that’s arising? If there’s nothing there I’ll talk with some people and see what we can come up with.

sadly nothing there. I assumed it is related to system standby, since it no longer happens after the hard reset. Just a guess though.

Not 100% reproduction though? Just sometimes after suspend you’ll have a full system lock when launching?

actually can 100% repo. Start PC, start http://battle.net  App, put PC into standby, wake PC, start overwatch, crash

Having bnet open before putting into sleep is the key. Won't lock up otherwise

If you start PC, start app, put PC into standby, wake PC, and then launch Overwatch via the command line (probably can double click from your folder) does it still lock PC? Will help determine if bnet app issue or OW issue so I can route to the right QA.

While we're at blaming bnet app team, do you know who to nudge about the app crashing within seconds on 90% of launches on macOS? I must have submitted hundreds of crash dumps by now but issue still persists after more than half a year. :(
