I mostly gravitate towards C#, however since I discovered that VS Code can debug Python I've been throwing together quick projects in that more recently. Will probably change once I sit down and figure out how C# can be done in VS Code.
Writing Python using Visual Studio is really nice. The debugging tools are good. I haven’t tried VS Code yet, how is it?

Since I work with different languages at Uni, Code is perfect for my use case. I can just grab the relevant extension and do everything in one editor (JS, C#, Python, NodeJS). Definitely doesn't replace a full IDE but since I mostly hack together console based apps, it's perfect.
