How much of it is the incredible support infrastructure that C# has vs. the language itself?
The ecosystem for both Python and C# are quite strong. With either language you can focus on your project and not worry about writing commodity libraries. I think C# frameworks can be too verbose while still somehow having too much "magic", but still like the C# language better.

For what it's worth I still like Python quite a bit, just overall feel myself gravitating toward C# for projects that historically I would've done in Python without thinking twice.
