How much of it is the incredible support infrastructure that C# has vs. the language itself?
Been hacking on a Path of Exile indexer for the past couple days for fun. I'm enjoying .NET Core, I find myself preferring C# to Python for quick projects at work these days.pic.twitter.com/K3qL9YJg5d

The ecosystem for both Python and C# are quite strong. With either language you can focus on your project and not worry about writing commodity libraries. I think C# frameworks can be too verbose while still somehow having too much "magic", but still like the C# language better.

I mostly gravitate towards C#, however since I discovered that VS Code can debug Python I've been throwing together quick projects in that more recently. Will probably change once I sit down and figure out how C# can be done in VS Code.

Writing Python using Visual Studio is really nice. The debugging tools are good. I haven’t tried VS Code yet, how is it?

I've never made the jump to C# -- most if not all of my Path of Exile indexer shenanigans are in python still. You made the jump to 3 yet?
