Our antiquated state statutes insult allies across our State. There is NO reason why we shouldn’t change the language to reflect our fairer, more balanced understanding of equality under the law.
Today is the anniversary of same-sex marriage becoming legal in Florida. But five years later, Florida statute still says marriage is only between a woman and a man.
