    Former director of Office of Ethics, a government official, and more than willing to openly undermine the institutions he his claiming to be saving by only spreading hysteria and delusion.

    This weekend I’m stocking up on portable phone chargers, warm clothes, & gear needed for when we take the streets. I’m concerned the assault on the rule of law is coming over the holidays when we’re distracted. It‘ll be a defining moment for the Republic.

    I find it easiest to think of the tattoos, nose rings and dyed hair as akin to a hijab or crucifix - a visible commitment to a faith community. (The only difference being that those in the first group have an implicit theology that obscures its own nature).

    Whereas under Millian liberalism, each is nonconformist in exactly the same way.

    Random thought. 7/8/9 could have been saved if they had just paid the money at the time and mashed Dark Empire and the Zahn Trilogy together. Thrawn + Resurrected Emperor = good story.

    From Rotten Tomatoes: Critics loved “The Last Jedi,” but audiences hate it (its at 56%). For comparison, critics hated the phantom menace (55%) and so did audiences (59%). People liked Phantom Menace more than the Last Jedi, let that sink in. H/t
