The Coast Guard is on scene at the grounded #Walla Walla. We are keeping passengers onboard. Low tide is at 8pm. Vessel engineers believe tide will be at the right height to safely tow the boat at midnight. We apologize to passengers . Their safety is our first priority.

#Walla Walla ran aground in Rich Passage at approx. 4:30 pm enroute to Seattle from Bremerton. No reports of injuries. Tug boat on the way. Initial indications are the vessel suffered a generator failure; an official investigation will be conducted. Updates to follow.

Customers biking to the terminal will need to enter thru vehicle toll booth lanes & can use the ORCA card reader on the northern toll booth lane starting Monday, 4/17 or buy tickets at the toll booth. The bike access lane from Alaskan Way will be closed due to construction.

Heads up for bicyclists that travel through our #Seattle terminal! On Monday, 4/17 and Tuesday, 4/18, the pedestrian walkway on ground level that leads from the holding lanes to Alaskan Way will be closed for construction activity in that area. Signs will redirect pedestrians.

Next week is National Work Zone Awareness Week, which brings attention to motorist & worker safety & mobility issues in work zones. Our vessels & terminals are a work zone as drivers maneuver around. Remember to slow down, be kind, pay attention & stay calm near all work zones.
