    Lacey: We're set close the entire Marvin Road overpass/ramps from 9 p.m. Friday, July 31 through 5 a.m. Monday, Aug. 3. Following an around-the-clock weekend closure, we'll reopen the overpass as a diverging diamond interchange.

    Be extra cautious this afternoon as wildfire risk is heightened. 🔥Keep your vehicle off of dried grasses 🔥Make sure to keep any lit material in your vehicle and dispose of it properly 🥤Stay hydrated & keep plenty of water with you as it continues to be HOT 📸

    Use SR 99 Duwamish River Bridge in to access our terminal? The NB lanes of the bridge will be closed nightly Sundays - Thursdays for 3 weeks (began 7/26) for crews to replace deck panels. View alternative routes to help you :

    At 11:30 am Monday we were doing lane striping on US 97 near Parker when a vehicle hit our truck mounted attenuator & drove off. Fortunately no one was hurt & damage to our truck was minimal. Please stay alert for road workers, slow down and give them room.

    A reminder for those traveling eastbound on today. Road work during the day to repair pavement. Please stay alert for road workers, slow down and give them as much room as possible.

    WHAT? Single-lane closure, I-90 eastbound, 9 miles east of the summit. WHERE? Tuesday, July 28 - daytime only WHY? To repair broken pavement. DELAYS? Yes. Please leave earlier, later, consider a different route or delaying your trip.

    Well, it's really hot. And my fan just decided it had enough and stopped working. So. ...dang. Going to see if my dog will wag her tail in my direction as a work around. Meantime, please keep your cool out there and let's have a safe PM commute.

    3 pm temp at Sea-Tac airport 91°, the 1st 90° plus day of the year in Seattle. This ends a streak of 371 days without a 90° plus day in Seattle. The record for the longest stretch of days without a 90 degree plus day in Seattle is 1415 days from 7/29/1998 to 6/12/2002.

    IN 1 WEEK:🚨2-week closure of SR 11/Chuckanut Drive🚨 Starting Monday, Aug. 3, SR 11 at Old Samish Road will close for 14 days for this culvert replacement: 💻 The posted speed limit on the detour is well below those on SR 11. Expect delays!

    [2:00 PM Update] It's currently 88°F at SeaTac. The winner so far this afternoon is Ohanapecosh at 100°F. Several locations well into the 90s on the eastside and south sound down into SW Washington.

    Work to repave 19-miles of SR 6 in Lewis County, between Pe Ell & I-5 near Chehalis, starts tomorrow. During pavement repairs travelers should plan ahead for delays of up to 20 min. Please slow down & give crews a break through the work zone.👷‍♀️🚧👷

    19-miles of State Route 6, between Pe Ell and Interstate 5 in Chehalis, will be repaved, providing a smoother ride for all travelers. Repairing this section of SR 6 keeps people, goods and services moving through Lewis County.
    The deck of the Chehalis River Bridge, located along State Route 6, near milepost 50, is nearing the end of its useful life and is in need or repaving. To keep travelers moving and ensure the safety of our crews, the paving work is scheduled nightly: Monday through Thursday, from 7pm to 6am, and on Friday’s from 7pm to 8am. Travelers near the bridge will follow a signed detour during nighttime operations.

    Starting this coming Monday, July 27, all NW Sammamish Road travelers should be prepared for a 90-day closure of the eastbound lane, just west of the State Park entrance. If you need to head westbound, this detour is in place:

    ✅We patched the broken section of pavement on eastbound I-90, 9 miles east of Snoq. Pass. ✅Two lanes are open near Stampede Pass Rd with a reduced speed of 40 mph. ✅We are on scene monitoring traffic and the repair work. ✅Please slow down, otherwise it may close again.
