I usually don't quote tweet replies (because it seems a bit rude really) but I see this "defense" of a clearly manipulative EU law pop up all the time and I don't want to answer it over and over again.

If the reconstruction is important enough, people will do it without EU funds if they are the limiting factor. For example whatever happens with the Notre Dame reconstruction, I doubt this will be a factor.Look, I agree that the law is extremely harmful, it's just not a total ban
