They have good suits (haven't purchased from them -- just shopped at their Bellevue store) but give Nordstrom Rack a try. I found an $1800 Cavalli 2-piece for $159 in my size, just needed $70 of alterations.
If you live near a major city, or can get to one, buy SuitSupply. Great fabric and style, reasonable prices.
