    I imagine some things are more surreal than a masked college student coming home for winter break and, like a good public health citizen, disappearing immediately into her room to quarantine for several days without even a hello hug. But at the moment, I can’t think of any.

    And: She posts a handwritten sign on her apartment door reminding the teenagers whose voices echo in the hallways: “SCHOOL IN PROGRESS HERE.” And yet... (My view here) .. For all these at-home efforts, there is a real educational crisis brewing for students like this.
