Earlier today, I asked O’Rourke’s campaign spokespeople if he made additional donations that were not itemized on his taxes — no response. I asked again after the town hall — again, no response. O’Rourke usually takes questions from reporters at least once a day — but not today.
Oof. He sure thinks highly of himself. Ugh.
Right? I personally cannot believe that someone who wants to become the most powerful person in the world has an ego.
The O'Rourkes are living paycheck-to-paycheck like the rest of us. Yes, even with that paycheck.
Many do not object to Beto’s answer. One of the major problem with our politics are these meaningless litmus tests, false binary choices, and demonization of wealth. All that counts is “Will this person accomplish what must be done?”
Oh. Well, no, no he won’t.
If a female candidate gave this answer, YIKES. She’d be torn to shreds for being away from her kids. #doublestandard
