The same could be said about written word. The writer didn't speak them and the reader didn't hear them— the language is virtual too.

This is IMHO a promininent issue with text-based communication in this generation— SMS, Twitter, FB, WhatsApp have replaced spoken dialog.

computers etc. are not a problem, problem is we're trapped in our thoughts, we want to "travel" mentally but we can't. Tech is a polyfill.
