I believe that the deepest understandings will come from a new form of "reading" which is actively moving up and down such a ladder. 4/
averages are often less informative than medians & outliers. numbers also poorly measure perception, a deeply human feature.
@MaxCRoser we also have to get much better with stats & maps. There are still a lot of approximations instead of a solid ground
we need like a playground for fuzzy stories. Loosen stat folk and story folk from staying in their extremes.
