Can you explain how the coding works? Where is the source being read from? The paper? Where do you write it? Do you have to print the source again to modify it? Are the dots just tracking markers or also identify a specific source on the paper?

Three lines of code if you have the dynamicland operating system and environment. It's clearly more complicated, but if these kinds of components are truly a part of the dynamicland environment, this would be three lines of code for anyone who has access to a dynamicland.
