Internet access is now critical for everyone-students, job-seekers, the elderly. We need to cut through all the red tape and make broadband access available nationwide. #twittercongress

In terms of funding, one thing that gets missed in the discussion is that infrastructure spending has been shown to be a great investment. The return on investment is $1.5-$3 for every dollar spent. #twittercongress

So even if we used deficit spending, it will pay off. Think of it like you owned a business. If you knew you'd have to spend $1000 on your credit account, but got back $1500-$3000, you'd do it. #twittercongress

I think we should create a federal infrastructure bank that states could draw out of to fund the projects they felt were best for their needs. #twittercongress

.@DrMann4Congress, I’d like to be the first to second many of your ideas. The Army Corps is Engineers ranks our infrastructure at a D- level. #twittercongress

Each state’s Congressional delegation, alongside state and local leaders, should develop a prioritized list of projects. States should be allocated money based on individual infrastructure ranking and proportion of population #twittercongress

This being said I live in Maine on the NH We have had two major bridges that connect us to New Hampshire. The funding issues from what I understand have been difficult. Maine has had more reserves and more to offer than nh. We I believe paid more than our fair share

How will multi state projects be divided on a federal basis

It depends on how we decide to fund the projects. One of the reasons that I like an infrastructure bank funded by the federal government is that funds could be drawn as needed by each state for their portion of a multi-state project.
