And I don't want to discount (1) there. Honestly, if grad student me met today's version of me, I think the first question I'd have for myself is, "wait, people give you money to write stuff? Like, a liveable amount of money?" with a tone of awe, confusion and reverence.
How would you recommend getting your writing out there, especially for pay? I'm about to enter my PhD and aim to write a bunch for general audiences
