She also blamed the US service members for becoming ambushed in Mogadishu during a UN peacekeeping mission famously depicted in Black Hawk Down. Hard pass on Rep. Omar until she retracts that sentiment and apologizes to those service member's families who died.

Her own party went crazy for no reason regarding anti-Semitic remarks. She didn't trivialize the worst moment in US history. You can keep making excuses and call them unwittingly insensitive remarks. She said it, meant it and as long as people keep making excuses it won't stop.

Anti-Zionism is, in fact, antisemitism when one points a finger only at Israel (which I will admit isn't perfect, but no country is) and ignores the atrocities committed by Israel's Arab neighbors. And that is exactly what @IlhanMN does.

I do agree more needs to be done about both sides, however Israel is not Judaism. Israel is a nation and should be criticized as one.
