      Our Carnegie Library is over 100 years old and our roof has kept us dry through downpours, drizzle, storms, and mizzle. But this last bout of rain just proved too much for it. 4/7

      The leak has now been sealed and we've temporarily relocated our kettle (again, priorities) but now we need to do some essential works. Tomorrow (Friday 28th February) we're closing for a few hours to allow for this to happen, so from 1-5pm we'll be closed to the public. 5/7

      This venue hire is no longer taking place. Initially it was cancelled due to our building closure but it has since come to light that the person who made the booking was doing so on behalf of an org whose values do not align with GWLs. 1/2

          So what are your values? Women should have the right to discuss issues which affect them without being abused or silenced. And yet you as the GWL seem to be doing just that. Censoring women’s freedom of speech.
