As a child living in San Diego, I feared "The Big One", the apocalyptic earthquake that would rupture along the San Andreas Fault, causing a tsunami that runs miles inland, drowning us in a cold, watery grave. What location-based fear did you have as a kid? Urban legends count.

Campfire stories. I grew up in Northern Michigan, about an hour South of the Bridge. Lot's of woods and lakes, house was next to a huge orchard with a field and massive forrest beyond that.
