This thread/fan represents the moments I grooved for Day 2 of #AGDQ2020. This day had a bit of...well, for lack of a better term, controlled chaos. The audience really got into it today for a variety of reasons. Nothing wrong with that for the most part. So, how did it work here?
#AGDQ2020 Groove 1: After Mario & Luigi. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/531393351?t=21h01m7s … I forgot about the Dragonzord battle from this game. Also, I never knew Aladdin for Genesis had the same track for the Arab Rock in two stages like that. That was cool to learn.
The person who came in shortly after https://www.twitch.tv/videos/531393351?t=21h05m48s … was one of the donation folks. I was asked about a donation incentive, and I prepared...well, a priority list of where incentives should go. The one mistake I made? Making multiple copies of the same sheet to hand in.
While I liked having Daytona music play, it's important to note https://www.twitch.tv/videos/531393351?t=21h11m20s …. This was when I started trying to pay attention to donations and reduce the grooving during serious donations. It took a bit to get used to this. Looks like some of chat noticed the motion.
Technically this intermission lasts a little longer than you think. You'll understand what I mean when you watch.
#AGDQ2020 Groove 2: After Skyblazer. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/531393351?t=21h45m46s … More good tunes came in, and I got to meet a fan who had the book of Speedrun Science. The donation where Speedrun Science was mentioned was possibly a coincidence, but it was nice to see the book shown on the stream.
This was when the bid war for the Sonic CD music choice started to come in big on donations. My preference? I didn't really had one: both have great tunes. Honestly, I'd like to see more tracks that combine both versions to see how well they work together.

The tunes before the interview worked well, carrying us to the interview. After the interview, DAYTONAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA came back which pleased many.
Now that I realize...there was some irony with this block. We're in the middle of a Super Nintendo block. @_Lizstar_ (the host for this block) is a Genesis Queen. I'm curious about how that was decided. Oh well: it's probably going to stay a mystery.
#AGDQ2020 Groove 4: After Actraiser. https://www.twitch.tv/videos/531393351?t=23h17m54s … Again, @0xabad1dea joined me. Apparently there was also a Dance Bear, but I didn't recognize them. Earthworm Jim once again has a great soundtrack to groove to. Still, this was the SNES Block with more Genesis music.
The only other interesting thing in this block was the interview. I was in chat, and for some reason others wanted me to have this Twitch VIP status thing. Many others deserve it more than me: I don't care what anyone else says. I need to actually run a game at GDQ first I think.
