It's been a little over a year since my mom passed suddenly in her sleep. I brew my coffee to this picture every morning. Thinking of you, Mom. I love and miss you so. Thanks for being a guiding light every day even since you passed. 🙏

An evening to relax...old fashioned popcorn made in the pan with a little olive oil, and a movie. Pushing the relax button!

A decidedly cool look to the pattern for a good chunk of the country next week. Still looking at a nice warm up though for the end of this week in #WNY #ROC and the #FLX with 70+ within reach Thu-Sat (NOT 80+ though like last weekend). #Spring #WX

Noon temperature check: A taste of June in mid-April. Already at 80 in Dansville, NY. 79 in Dunkirk and not even at peak heating. Headed for the lower 80s in spots this afternoon with low humidity. #WNY #WX

Good morning, Western NY! Are you ready to bask in balmy breezes and sunshine? The last time we saw 80 degrees in #Buffalo was all the way back in September. We'll make a run at it today! #WNY #WX

Sometimes things slip through the cracks at 3 am. The actual record high for tomorrow is 83 set in 1883. The previous record stated was a "modern day" record. Either way, it's going to be WARM tomorrow. Thanks to the kind viewer who brought this up! #Buffalo #WX

Remarkable rain statistics from that Ft. Lauderdale thunderstorm!

Looks like we've reached a 1000-year six hour rain event at Ft. Lauderdale airport, per a comparison of ARI curves (green=1000, red=100) to the rain trace. twitter.com/NWSMiami/statu…

Thursday! A carbon-copy of Wednesday, but just a touch warmer. Today offers yet another reminder that ALL weather is local, local, local. Spring certainly showcases that here in #WNY. Downtown #Buffalo: low 60s. S. Tier: upper 70s today! #WX

One more: I marvel at this building and all the stories that the walls could tell if they could talk. The Statler. A hotel that entertained early 20th century Hollywood elite & so many more. Massive renovation project underway. Hope it gets a chance to shine again!

WEDNESDAY: Good morning! Clouds this morning will give way to sunshine. Temperatures today totally a function of your proximity to Lake Erie thanks to a southwest wind. Away from the water: making a run for the 70s! #Buffalo #WNY #WX
